B.Sc. Agriculture is a four year undergraduate program that is divided into 8 semesters. It comprises curriculum of HNB Garhwal University. The curriculum is strictly followed as per the recommendations of ICAR 5th Dean committee which contains Elective courses, Agro-industrial Attachment (AIA), Rural Agricultural Work Experience (RAWE), Practical Crop Production (PCP) Experiential Learning Programs and Hands on Training. The curriculum consists of effective implementation of modern agricultural techniques, implements and equipments on field and to make the students to become an entrepreneur. Students can achieve deep knowledge in the field of soil science, agronomy, water management, animal husbandry, landscaping, use of life sciences subjects in agriculture, etc. The basic methodology behind the course curriculum is to make the students capable of implementing all the methods while performing practical in the field. There are various disciplines in the field of agriculture science like horticulture, plant pathology, entomology, soil science, food technology, agricultural economics, home science, fisheries, forestry, and veterinary science, which students can learn basics in undergraduate and can study these subjects as specialization during their master’s degree course.
