B.Sc. Forestry is a four year undergraduate program that is divided into 8 semesters. It comprises curriculum (Choice Based Credit System) of HNB Garhwal University and having Elective Courses, Forestry Work Experience and Hands on Training which provides students knowledge and training about Forestry. The main aim of the forestry is the creation and implementation of the frame work of forestry resources and to make sure that the non-renewable resources do not get extinct. During forestry studies students get exposure to some adventure and outdoor activities which enable them physically fit and should be adaptable to the new surroundings. The program trains students in the managing of forests, forest resources and conservation of wildlife and spreading awareness and knowledge about the newly developed technologies in the field of Forestry.
